Teaser Tuesdays (4)

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly event.
Sponsored by MizB of Should Be Reading.
Here's how it works:
Grab the book you are currently reading (anything at all)
Open the book to any random page
Share 2 "teaser" sentences from anywhere on the page.
Please Make Sure They Are Not Spoilers!
(Don't Give Too Much Away) Just enough to pique our interets.
List the book and author so other participants can get their hand on it if they choose to read it as well.
This week:
"Then I heard a voice, a voice like burning silver, like a kiss against my ears. Looking up, my heart lifted and I knew it was my Aloine."
The Name of the Wind
By Patrick Rothfuss

  7. I am so glad you all liked the teaser. I really liked these lines. I thought they really helped to show how Patrick writes so. The word choices for the story is just amazing! I thought this showed it well when I opened to this page.
