Looking Forward To... (25)

There are so many amazing books already on the shelves and new ones coming out.

For a list of books yet to be released I'm looking to get, you can also look on my right Sidebar at the ever growing list titled Desired Reads - just scroll down.  Of course there are tones of other new books to come out that are amazing as well, but these ones are part of series I have already started or for one reason or another caught my eye (and haven't seen much on other blogs yet). But I will highlight one here each week.

(mentioned in order of Release Date then Alphabetical if there are more than one book coming out on the same date.)

The Next Book Is..

Songs of Love & Death
Edited by:  George R.R. Martin & Gardner R. Dozois
Due Out:  November 16, 2010

I have a thing for anthologies anymore.  I love the short stories.  Whether they are short stories relating to a series already out or something new completely, I've found they give me a nice glimpse of what the authors are like.  And of course I purchase anthologies for authors I already enjoy too, and of course this one has some of those great authors in it.  And I like that I can sneak the short stories in between reads.  Of course I've been a little lax about reading my anthologies here lately with the rush of other books, but this is one to add to my collection.

  3. Oo wow this sounds really interesting! The cover is something too! I'm not usually big on short stories, but I think I would enjoy them by authors I'm already familiar with. Neat!

  7. Hi Cari! Thank you for stopping by! It is great to collect the signatures of all the authors in an anthology! I don't get the chance to do that, but I love the one I won at your place with the signatures. Very cool! (And I've been keeping it safe.) :) Thank you!
