At this point she was being civil.  Nothing more.  Nothing less.  Considering he'd made himself welcome on her turf, he didn't blame her.

  1. That book sounds really interesting. I've developed a new interest in mermaid books lately and I've now added this one to my TBR pile.

    Thanks for sharing this one!

  3. How many times have we found ourselves being civil - nothing more, nothing less? A great teaser though I'm not a fan of the cover.

  6. Stephanie - Thank you for stopping by. :) I haven't started this book yet. I'm hoping to get started into it this weekend. :) It sounded like a good read when I saw all the reviews before. And the author has the second book coming out in February. So thought why not. :) Glad you like the sounds of it. Hope you enjoy it as well.

Casey (The Bookish Type) - I'm curious about the same questions. :) I haven't started the book yet, but look forward to it this weekend. :) Thank you for stopping by!

Petty Witter - So true! We always find we have to be civil for one reason or another. :) Glad you enjoyed the teaser! Thank you for stopping by.

Carolsnotebook - Thank you for stopping by. :) Glad you enjoyed the teaser. I'm kind of wondering the same thing. That love/hate relationship. :) I'm looking forward to finding out. :)

Melissa (Books&Things) - I'm hoping to get started on this one this weekend. Glad you enjoyed the teaser. And YES! I heard of the New Pirates of the Caribbean! I've got it on the list to see. I think I'll have to save money and the kid and I will sneak out to see it. :) And I'm glad to see mermaids are making their rounds again. :)

Alexia - Hey! Hope you are well. Glad you like the teaser. :) Thank you for stopping by!

  7. Hey honey! I love this cover! I hope all is well honey. Things are going okay here. Work is just that work.. lol. For now things have settled down a bit, lol. Life in the home is still okay. Hubs is still away. But things are good.

I am glad to hear that the weather is not hindering the move to much. I am still waiting to see pics, lol! How is the weather been holding up? We are getting a horrible cold front right now.. and it is freezing outside. Like I can feel it through my windows ugh! And yea cold is just cold for me. Below 65 is cold, lmbo!

    Hugs to you honey!

  11. Cecile! Hey Hon! Glad you like the cover. :) Things are going really good here. :) Glad things have settled a little. And hope your Hubby comes home soon. It't tough when they have to travel. But, glad all is good. The weather has been very chilly. We keep getting snow, but thankfully nothing like last year. Just always here and in the way. And the wind is bitter cold. We would be thrilled with 65. ;D I think we are in the teens and twentys. And hit 30 at some points to get more snow. ;) Hugs to you and wishing you well.

Chasity - Hey! Thank you for stopping by! It does make for an interesting sounding relationship. ;) I'm going to start the book here today.

Kah Woei - ;) He should be nice, right. ;D Thank you for stopping by!

Alisha (MyNeedToRead) - Thank you. And glad to hear you've thought on this book too. I'm going to get started on it today, so I'm hoping to be through it next weekend. I know seems like a long time, but I'm a slow reader and I have another book I need to finish up here on Wend. ;) But I'll get there. :) Thank you for stopping by!

  12. Oh Cecile, I've been putting off putting the pictures on the walls as I don't think I'm very good at decorating but I think I'll have to do that soon so I can post pictures of the house. :) That sounds like something I could do with the husband next weekend. ;)
