Who? What? Where?

Who are you with?  Where are you at?  What's happening?

Share with us just a little bit of what is happening in the book you are reading, right where you are now.

Just a tiny taste of what's happening, remember try to not give spoilers of the book.

(This is a new meme I'm going to try and will tweak as I go.)

Today I'm roaming the mysterious unmade western world with John Creedmoor.  He has just left Dr. Liv and the scarecrow of a man we call General at the pool of water to go hunt for the creature that's hunting in the wood of Oaks and animals similar to what we know are in the woods, but just slightly different - enough different to not be what we know lives in the forests.  This creature is deadly and seems to be of a snakish form.

  1. Ewww... snakish. LOL. Sounds like a promising read full of entertainment.

I hope he finds what he's looking for without too much trouble.

  2. I have this on my tbr stack for review. I'm hoping to get to it next week during my read-a-thon. It sounds like a good one.

This is a clever idea for a meme. I might join in from time to time.

  3. Sounds interesting. My mom would not come toward that book if you paid her tho. lol

I'm with Maliha in Chicago determining what has happened in Darfur and snuggling with a man who is unusual. :) Sacrifice by Dakota Banks.

  4. Oo I love this idea! Your book sounds very haunting! I'm curious about this creature!

I'm currently reading Delirium by Lauren Oliver and the main character is about to be "evaluated" to see how her future is going to be planned out. Creepy.

  5. Chasity - Thank you for stopping by! :) The parts with gentleman are very interesting. ;D He is one of the few characters I like here in this book.

Michelle @The True Book Addict - I hope you enjoy this book. I'm really curious to hear what you have to say on it. I'm hoping to have my review up here in the next few days. And glad you like the idea for the meme. :) I hope you do join in some time. I have to think up a pic to go with it though. That is my down fall, I'm not creative in the picture kind of way. :)

Melissa (Books&Things) - :) Thanks! LOL! Is you mom not a snake person huh. :D Ooo, Maliha sounds like a fun character! And I hope you are enjoying Sacrifice. I've wanted to get into that series for a little while here. Thanks for playing along.

Casey (The Bookish Type) - :) Glad you like this idea. :) This western world here is kind of haunting. ;D Ooo, sounds like Delirium is very good. Evaluating her to see what her future will be planned as. Interesting! I'll look forward to your review.

  6. I'm with James Stark (aka Sandman Slim) and someone who's been wearing a glamour (& I'm not gonna say who, so I don't ruin it if you haven't read it yet.), and they're about to head to the Chateau Marmont, probably to have a chat with Lucifer.
This is from KILL THE DEAD, the second Sandman Slim book by Richard Kadrey. If you haven't read them, do it now! (KTD is so good that I put it down on page 371 [out of 434], just so I could have something awesome to read tomorrow!) :)

  7. Rissatoo - you make Kill the Dead sound great. :) I didn't pick up Sandman Slim, even with all the great things I heard of it because it didn't seem to click with me. But I will say this does sound good now. ;) Thank you for playing along!
