Throwback Thursday (45)

Let's talk about those books already on the shelves, yours or the stores.

I have a post for books I'm looking forward to coming out;

Looking Forward To...
But what about all those wonderful books that are ALREADY on the shelves.

Whether it be on your shelf waiting to be read or on the shelves in the stores waiting for you to give it a good home.

So, I thought I would share a book a week that is just waiting for me to travel through it's world.

Now... where do I start? Lets go by Published Date on the books...

This Week:

I've heard very good things about this book, and mixed thoughts as well but I still want to give it a go.  I found this one on a sale shelf this past summer and had to pick up the hard cover for $4!  Amazing!  So I have it here now, just needing more time to get to all these books...

Goodreads Synopsis:
For Nora Grey, romance was not part of the plan. She's never been particularly attracted to the boys at her school, no matter how much her best friend, Vee, pushes them at her...until Patch comes along.

With his easy smile and eyes that seem to see inside her, Nora is drawn to him against her better judgment, but after a series of terrifying encounters, Nora's not sure whom to trust. Patch seems to be everywhere she is, and to know more about her than her closest friends. She can't decide whether she should fall into his arms or run and hide. And when she tries to seek some answers, she finds herself near a truth that is far more unsettling than anything Patch makes her feel.

For Nora is right in the middle of an ancient battle between the immortal and those that have fallen - and when it comes to choosing sides, the wrong choice will cost her life.

  1. I have to confess to owning Hush, Hush as well and not reading it either! I picked it up on a swap mostly because so many people rave about Patch and I wanted to see what the fuss was. Maybe we should both try to read it soon! :-)

  5. Mel - lol. So glad to hear I'm not the only one with the book yet to be read. :)

    Blodeuedd - I've heard that about this book from a few others as well. It sounded really good, but I'm not sure. I'm glad I picked it up on sale. :)

    Melissa (Books&Things) - Oh, well. Now I'll have to see, but probably won't be anytime soon. And the cover is gorgeous, I have to agree. :)

    StephanieD - Ok, now I'm wondering if I will like it. Three of you who enjoy some amazing books voting the same way. Hmmm, I wish I had time to start it to see what I thought. Thank you!!
